The BMC is admonished to remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life." (2 Cor. 3:6)
We seek to suppress our individual selves that our collective self may be mighty. May we ever seek to respect each other's differences as unique instruments of God fashioned for His specific purposes, and may we ever strive to create the Kingdom of God on earth as He already created it for us in heaven.
Where there are people in need, we’ll be there lending a hand, a smile, and a word.
It is both an honor and a pleasure to have been selected to be the 2017 Vice-President of Baptist Minister’s Conference of Boston and Vicinity (BMC). I am especially grateful and humbled.
My mission is that of the Great Commission, to "…go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19.
As one of the whosoevers, I firmly believe that none should suffer. We should never tear down our brothers and sisters but bring them up to where God would have them.
It is my desire, as Vice-President of the BMC, to support the ministry and our President, Rev. Dr. Larry Green, in any and every way possible.
Additionally, I desire to help the BMC to be a visible source of inspiration and help in the community and to always promote peace and equality throughout.
I am grateful and humbled to have been selected President of the Baptist Minister’s Conference of Boston and Vicinity. I am guided by the word of God, found in 2 Timothy 2:15 “Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth.”
It is my desire for the conference to seek and to serve the Lord as we lead the people of God into a closer relationship with Him through the study of His WORD. Additionally, I desire for the conference to seek and pray for the peace of our city. This desire is rooted in Jeremiah 29:7 “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray unto Jehovah for it; for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace."
My priorities of ministry, which have been stated repeatedly and demonstrated consistently are 1) teaching people to passionately love God with all their heart, soul and mind; 2) emphasizing close and loving family relationships; 3) developing a heart for local and world evangelism; and 4) training the next generation to love and serve God.
